We meet as a church family every Sunday morning. We do this because Jesus commanded his followers to get together and we want to show our love for Jesus by obeying him.
We meet so that we can encourage and support each other in our Christian lives. We do this through praising God through song, reading the Bible, praying, and having the Bible explained to us in a thirty-minute talk.
We meet every week at 10:30am in the church building.
On the first Sunday of the month we do things slightly differently. We move across to the church hall and move the start time back to 11:00am. We call this our All Together Service and it’s a slightly less ‘formal’ service with a talk appropriate for all ages. After the service ends, we set up some tables and enjoy a bring & share lunch together, as a church family.
We believe that the message of the gospel is for people of all ages but that it needs to be taught in different ways for different ages.
SJKids is our children’s group, which meets alongside the main Sunday service.
SJKids is for anyone in years 1 to 6 at school. The kids will leave the service just before the talk begins and return before the Lord’s Supper.
We have a fantastic team of leaders, who are trained in how to teach and apply the amazing truths of the bible to younger age groups. They do this through talks, dramas, games, and crafts.
All our leaders hold valid DBS checks and are in compliance with our safeguarding policy.

Our Evening Prayer Service takes place at 7:30pm, in the church hall.
This is a much more informal service, focused primarily on prayer.
We normally start with a couple of songs, followed by a short reflection on scripture. We then spend the rest of the meeting thinking about, and praying for, an area of church life.
