George Crowder, Vicar 01606 594651 Email George grew up in a Christian home where he learned to love the Bible and the message of the gospel. He longs that everyone should have a chance to hear the good news about Jesus and find eternal life in him. Before entering full-time ministry he was a chartered engineer and divisional manager in a consultancy practice. After four years at Oak Hill Theological College he spent three and half years as a Curate in St John’s, Hartford. George became Vicar of St John’s, Over, in February 2011. He and his family are enjoying living in this friendly town and are happy to be here. George is married to Kath. They have three daughters, Naomi, Lucy and Hannah, and Joseph Judah George born 2nd April 2011 4.17pm, 8lb 7oz. Kath and Joseph doing well.
George and Kath met through ballroom dancing and they still dance together regularly. George also enjoys rock climbing, swimming, running, reading and playing the guitar. |
